Having learnt the technicalities of vegetable dying from Razzak bhai (the master Ajrakh
dyer/printer), from Juli (Krac-a-dawna) and from Rashmi (Avani), we keep trying some
of our own vegetable dying with our own farm products...and so far we have achieved
some great results.
Some of our colours are:
Brown/Beige---with dry aamla (indian gooseberry)
Orange----------flame of the forest flowers
Pink--------------beetroot
Black------------iron oxidized in aamla vinegar

We do small piece lengths for our own use.
